Supporting employees to quit smoking
The Quitline 13 QUIT (13 78 48) can assist workplaces or other organisations who wish to suppport their staff to quit smoking.
Quitline Advisors are available 7 days a week to provide information, support, encouragement and resources to help with quitting. Advisors talk about strategies to prepare for quitting, prevent relapse, help to stay a non-smoker, and provide information about products and services that can assist. Advisors focus on the reasons why people smoke, not why they shouldn't, so callers are not given a health lecture.
