Queensland Health offers temporary and permanent visa sponsorship for allied health professionals.
The preferred visa for overseas allied health professionals employed by Queensland Health is the Temporary Business Long Stay Visa (Subclass 457). The 457 visa is available for full time temporary or permanent employees, is valid for four years and allows the applicant’s spouse or partner to work unlimited hours.
Once you have met immigration requirements, Queensland Health can sponsor you for permanent residency under the Employer Nomination Scheme Visa (Subclass 121/856) or the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme Visa (Subclass 119/857).
