The Acquired Brain Injury Outreach Service

 

ABIOS is a specialist community-based rehabilitation service to enhance the service system for people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and their families. Our mission is to assist people with ABI in Queensland, their families and carers to achieve an improved quality of life and community integration through increased independence, choice, opportunity and access to appropriate and responsive services.

 ABIOS's Role Includes:

	Direct Client Services Improving community integration for clients with an ABI			STEPS Skills to Enable People and Communities
	ABI Education Providing formal and informal ABI training and consultancy and advice
	Research and Development Conducting community oriented ABI Research and Development activities
